Round duct damper - flow regulator 125mm

This round flexible silencer is made of polyurethane foam flakes and is pressed into the ventilation duct without tools. The damper is secured in place by gentle pressing, so that it cannot slide anymore.

This silencer can provide a solution for annoying noises in ventilation systems, and is intended for placement at the level of the inlet and outlet nozzles (valves). The best sound absorption is obtained when 2 silencers with an intermediate distance of +/- 10 cm are placed one after the other. An additional pressure loss must be taken into account, and in an applications where only noise reduction is desired, all plugs must be removed. The removable plugs can also be used to regulate the ventilation air flow. The silencer has a dust-resistant skin on one side. The material is flame retardant according to EN ISO 11925-2: 2002.

Use the damper to reduce air flow noise in ventilation ducts, noise from fans and as a noise damper between rooms that are connected to the same duct. The round duct dampers can also be used in round air ducts of boats, for example, to muffle sound from the engine compartment to the outside.
